Coucou et bienvenue sur mon blog music ! =)

Avant tout je tenais à préciser que si vous aimez les Savage Garden ou bien que vous voulez découvrir d'autres morceaux d'eux en plus de ceux que je propose ici, n'hésitez pas à me contacter j'ai toute leur discographie et je vous les passerai ! Après si c'est un ou les albums qui vous intéressent, je les posterai via un lien Megaupload pour que vous puissez les télécharger, car 4 chansons à disposition sur un blog music, c'est un peu maigre...

Savage Garden est un duo pop-rock initié en 1993. Darren Hayes et Daniel Jones se font connaître dès 1997, grâce aux singles I Want You et To The Moon And Back. Savage Garden explose sur la scène internationale grâce au tube crémeux et romantique Truly, Madly, Deeply, qui a squatté les charts internationaux pendant plusieurs mois. Grâce à ce hit incontournable, leur premier album s'est vendu à plus de 11 millions d'exemplaires. Affirmation, leur deuxième opus a rencontré un succès nettement plus discret. Le groupe s'est séparé en 2001.

Savage Garden se compose du chanteur/compositeur Darren Hayes né à Brisbane (Australie) en 1972 et du mélodiste-instrumentiste Daniel Jones né à Essex (Angleterre) en 1973.

Darren et Daniel se rencontrent en janvier 1993 grâce à une publicité insérée par Daniel dans un magazine musical local de Brisbane "Time off". Il cherche en effet un chanteur pour son groupe Red Edge. Le courant passe tout de suite entre eux et, peu de temps après, ils se lancent à deux dans une carrière musicale, laissant le groupe derrière eux.

Ils passent environ un an à écrire et à enregistrer dans un studio et envoient près de 150 démos à travers le monde jusqu'à ce que le manager John Woodruff tombe sur leur cassette. L'attente n'est pas vaine car ils décrochent un contrat auprès de Warner Music. Savage Garden est né.


En 2005 sort leur best of Truly Madly Completely.
